After an incredibly thin rookie class last year this one was loaded with numerous potential stars. They were spread across the spectrum of high picks to unknowns.
Derrick Rose was the popular choice since he was the top draft pick and he put in so many minutes as Chicago's starting point guard. His 98 TPR indicates a future allstar. Brook Lopez was equally deserving as Rose with fewer minutes yet a very impressive 103 TPR.

All things considered though there is nobody who came close to Portland's Rudy Fernandez whose European experience showed. Portland was arguably the second best team in the West and Rudy their sixth man spark off the bench, actually vying for top sixth man honors. The sharpshooter carried an impressive .552 adjusted fg% and 84% of free throws. But he wasn't just a scorer he also played excellent defense and was a very good ballhandler- he made few mistakes.
Speaking of sharpshooters Anthony Morrow was lights out for Golden State.

Some of the names you see below may not have received much playing time however their strong play in limited minutes makes them players to watch.

The minutes bonus is subjective and I gave +25 for 100% team minutes and +10 for 70%.
There are nine players who separated themselves from the pack.
