Joe Schaller

In my initial calculations for Eastern Conference wins it was a virtual seven way tie for fourth between Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Miami, Philadelphia, Toronto and Washington. After weeks of tweaking Miami slid and Philadelphia rose as my leader for the 4-seed with 41 projected wins.
Elton Brand remains the wild card for the Sixers while durability issues of Dwyane Wade and lack of a second star leaves me with little confidence for the Heat.

Although my playoffs ratings favor the Magic, the Cavs are their equal for the regular season.

Here is an example of my team projection method using the Boston Celtics who may be resting a few of their aging stars.
